St Helier Cup comes to Braunton

The Club's protest at the recent County Championships over the results of the St Helier Cup have now been up held and the cup now comes to Braunton for the first time in its history. Congratulations to our juniors Craig Attwood, Kevin Luxton, Kirstie-Anne Attwood and the Club Rifle Captain Andy Bowman who made up the team.

Prone Rifle

After seven rounds of the Exeter and District League, Craig Attwood and Andy Bowman are leading their respective divisions.

Kirstie Anne Attwood is putting in good scores in her first appearance in the league taking second place in her division giving the current Ladies club champion Vanessa Billing a run for her money.

Success in National Eley Shoot

Members of the club were successful in gaining six silver medals in the Eley Shoot. Tery Luxton picked up three in 20yd air pistol, LSR and 10m air pistol. Chris Attwood took silver in the 22 Prone rifle. Stan Barnes got silver in the LSR while Andy Bowman gained one in 10m Pistol. This was one of the clubs best performances in the last eight years
