First for Craig
Craig Attwood put in a personal best of 575 to take first place in Class B at the Geoff Partridge Memorial shoot held at Aldersly, Wolverhampton. In doing this he beat several members of the English Commonwelath shooting team finishing in fourth place overall in the junior class after a countback for third place. In the aggregate Craig took a silver medal to complete his haul of medals.
Braunton Rifle Team unbeaten
The Braunton Rifle team continue their unbeaten run with a victory in round 11 over Budleigh D in Division four of the Devon Winter Rifle League. They stay two points clear of Plymouth Electric.
Dean takes Pistol Medal
Dean Bale a junior member of Braunton TSC took third place in the British Pistol Clubs Winter shoot held at Bisley. Dean shooting in his first competition came third in the junior competition.
Selected for British Schools Team
Craig Attwood has been selected to join the squad for the British Schools Team to visit Denmark in the summer. Craig who was a member of the winning British Schools team at Bisley last August has been asked to take part in the return match in Denmark in July.

Braunton take first Place
Braunton TSC following a good team performance with Kirstie- Anne Attwood putting in her first 100 beat Plymouth Electric the former league leaders in Round 8 of the Devon County Rifle League. Braunton now lie in first place in Division four.

Braunton Juniors to represent Devon
Braunton Juniors, Kirstie- Anne Attwood, Kevin Luxton and Craig Attwood have all been selected to shoot for the Devon County Junior Squad in the forthcoming National Junior Inter-County Rifle Winter League based upon their performance at the County Championships in September
Devon County Air Rifle Champion Kirstie- Anne Attwood has also been asked to shoot with brother Craig in the National Inter-County Air Rifle Winter League for the Devon Senior Squad.

Devon Champions
Kirstie-Anne Attwood of Braunton and North Devon Scouts became the Devon County Air Rifle Champion at the South West Air-Rifle Championships held at Okehampton finishing as the top lady in third place in A Class with a personal best score of 561.
Not to be outdone younger brother Craig Attwood took both the South West and the Devon Junior Champion title with Luke Smith taking both silver medals. Craig took the Class B title and Luke Smith the Class C title. The Braunton team of Kirstie Attwood, Craig Attwood and Chris Attwood took second place in the South West Team Title only 1 point behind St Austell.
